Some work cannot be booked through Veyzo. This page exists so Customers can see the list before booking — it is the same list that appears in Section 4 of our Safety Standards, which CrewPros acknowledge during onboarding.
What cannot be booked or performed
- Electrical or plumbing work requiring a license
- Roofing or work on elevated structures
- Any use of a ladder above 8 feet
- Mold, chemical, or biohazard handling
- Asbestos, pest, or hazardous material remediation
- Chainsaw operation or heavy power-tool use
- Any task requiring a specialized certification
- Appliance repair involving gas or electrical components
- Moving items too heavy for one person
- Entering attics, crawlspaces, or restricted areas deemed unsafe
- Any task involving aggressive animals, weapons, or visible illegal substances
- Any work that differs substantially from what was described in the booking
Why
CrewPros are independent contractors performing labor-only work. They are not licensed tradespeople, they supply their own equipment, and Veyzo does not carry insurance covering them. The work above either requires a license, requires training and equipment CrewPros don’t have, or carries a risk of serious injury that no labor-only booking should involve.
What happens if prohibited work is requested
A CrewPro who encounters prohibited work will decline it and leave. Where that happens:
- You are not charged a cancellation fee, and your authorization hold is released.
- The CrewPro is not penalized. Declining prohibited work never counts as a cancellation and never affects their standing.
Repeatedly requesting prohibited work may result in suspension or removal of your account.
If you need this kind of work done
Hire a licensed contractor. For anything involving gas, structural elements, or electrical systems, that is not a formality — it is the difference between a job and a fire.
