Privacy policy

What Veyzo collects, why, who it is shared with, and your choices. Last updated September 21, 2026.

This Privacy Policy explains how Veyzo LLC (“Veyzo,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when Customers and CrewPros (“Users,” “you,” or “your”) access or use our website, mobile interfaces, or related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you may not use the Platform.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Account Information: name, email, phone number, password.
  • Profile Information: address, service preferences, photos, descriptions.
  • Booking Information: service details, availability, communication logs.
  • Payment Information: processed through third-party payment processors (Stripe). Veyzo does not store full payment card numbers.
  • Background Check Information (CrewPros): identity verification data, criminal history results, and other information permitted by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”).
  • Communications: messages sent through the Platform and any customer-support interactions.
  • Consent records: which legal documents you accepted, which version, when, from what device, and the exact text shown to you at the time.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device data (browser type, OS, IP address).
  • Usage data (pages visited, clicks, Platform activity).
  • Cookies and tracking technologies — see our Cookie Policy.
  • Location data (approximate or precise, depending on device settings).

CrewPros: we collect precise location when you mark yourself en route to or started on a job, in order to confirm you are at the job site. We collect it only at those moments, not continuously, and not when you are off-duty.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

  • Background check vendors.
  • Payment processors.
  • Marketing and analytics partners.
  • Publicly available sources.
  • Referrals or other users who invite you to the Platform.

1.4 Sensitive Information

Some of the information we collect is treated as sensitive personal information under certain state privacy laws:

  • Precise geolocation (CrewPros, at en-route and job-start moments only)
  • Criminal history information obtained through background checks (CrewPros only)

We collect and use sensitive personal information only for the purposes described in this Policy — verifying that a CrewPro is at the correct job site, and determining eligibility to participate on the Platform. We do not sell sensitive personal information, and we do not use or disclose it for purposes of inferring characteristics about you. We retain it only as long as described in Section 7.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for:

  • Providing and improving the Platform
  • Processing bookings and payments
  • Facilitating communication between Customers and CrewPros
  • Verifying identity and conducting background checks
  • Confirming a CrewPro’s presence at a job site
  • Protecting safety, preventing fraud, and enforcing Platform rules
  • Sending transactional notifications
  • Delivering marketing communications, where you have opted in
  • Maintaining records of your acceptance of our legal documents
  • Complying with legal obligations

We may aggregate or anonymize information for analytical purposes.

3. Background Checks and FCRA Compliance

For CrewPros, Veyzo LLC may use your information to:

  • Verify identity
  • Conduct criminal background checks
  • Validate eligibility to participate on the Platform

These checks are performed by third-party consumer reporting agencies in accordance with the FCRA.

Before we obtain a background check, we will:

  1. Provide you with a clear and conspicuous written disclosure, in a standalone document, stating that a consumer report may be obtained for purposes of evaluating you for engagement on the Platform;
  2. Obtain your written authorization; and
  3. Provide you with a copy of the federal Summary of Your Rights Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

If we intend to take adverse action — declining your application, suspending you, or removing you from the Platform — based in whole or in part on a consumer report, we will:

  1. Send you a pre-adverse action notice including a copy of the report and the Summary of Rights;
  2. Allow you a reasonable period, ordinarily five (5) business days, to review the report and dispute its accuracy with the consumer reporting agency; and
  3. If we proceed, send you a final adverse action notice identifying the consumer reporting agency, stating that the agency did not make the decision and cannot explain it, and informing you of your right to obtain a free copy of the report and to dispute its accuracy.

Veyzo does not independently verify the contents of a consumer report and is not the source of the information in it. Disputes about accuracy should be directed to the consumer reporting agency identified in your notice.

4. How We Share Information

We may disclose your information to:

4.1 Service Providers

Vendors performing services for us, including:

  • Background check vendors
  • Payment processors (Stripe)

  • Email delivery providers (Resend)

4.5 We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information

Veyzo does not sell personal information, and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under applicable state privacy laws. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months. If this ever changes, we will update this Policy and provide the opt-out mechanism the law requires before doing so.

5. Marketing Communications

Transactional messages. We send messages necessary to provide the Services — booking confirmations, assignment and arrival notices, receipts, account and security notices. You cannot opt out of these while you maintain an account.

Marketing email. We send promotional email only if you opt in. Opt out using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, in your account settings, or by contacting support@veyzo.com.

Marketing text messages. We send marketing text messages only if you separately and affirmatively opt in by checking a box provided for that specific purpose. Consent is not a condition of creating an account or booking Services. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

How to make a request. Email support@veyzo.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” Tell us which right you are exercising and the email address on your account.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. The “Last Updated” date indicates when changes were made. Where a change materially affects how we use information you already provided, we will notify you and, where required, obtain your consent before applying the change to that information.
